I had an amazing experience at my new dental office! First impression was how beautiful and accommodating the office was. The comfortable leather furniture with the bling lighting and video games for the kiddos plus movies on several big screens. I was blown away. Then the staff just put the icing on the cake. They were all nice, professional and very detailed about the services my daughter and I would be receiving as well as doctor's recommendations. I am so happy that I found a dental office that serves my family's needs and I highly recommend Avion dental services. A-Plus!!!

The cost of tooth extractions will vary based on factors like geography and the patient’s dental health. That said, the average price for removing a tooth in the United States is typically around $150 and $400. The exact cost could change depending on certain things, including the complexity of your situation, any sedation dentistry received, or any additional procedures before/after the extraction. Wisdom teeth removals tend to be more expensive and generally need specialized services from an oral surgeon to complete them. If you have insurance, your dentist may be able to negotiate the fees for your procedure with your provider.

Every dentist working in the United States must attain their Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Sciences (DDS) from one of the 67 Accredited dental schools in the country. To get into these universities, a person will need to have a bachelor's degree (and typically high grades in mostly math and science courses). Dental school usually involves 3 years with a combination of hands-on training and classroom learning. Many dentists seek additional training by earning 1 of 12 specializations that are recognized by the American Dental Association. These courses usually include an additional 3 or more years of “dental school.” Even after graduating, all dentists are required to complete a certain number of continuing education hours to maintain their license.
